Olympic superstar Simone Biles missed cheering on her husband, Jonathan Owens, for the second straight NFL week as the Chicago Bears took on the Houston Texans. Biles, who is preparing to kick off her “Gold Over America” tour, couldn’t attend due to her post-Olympic commitments.
However, Owens assured fans that Biles will soon be back in the stands. Speaking to the Chicago Bears’ YouTube channel, Owens revealed that Biles is set to attend the Bears’ September 29th game at Soldier Field. “She has a tour stop here that evening at 7. Literally perfect. She can come to the game at 12, and then I’ll get to watch her at 7. Pretty dope turnaround,” Owens said.
Biles’ busy schedule stems from her 30-stop gymnastics tour across the U.S., featuring stars like Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles. The tour kicks off on September 16 in California and wraps up on November 3 in Detroit.
Though she hasn’t been able to attend the first two games of the season, Biles has been supporting Owens from afar, sharing excitement on social media. After Owens scored a touchdown in Week 2, Biles reacted on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK,” and cheering him on via Instagram.
